Photoactivation of GFP in Human Bone Osteosarcoma Cell

This video shows the photoactivation of GFP (green fluorescent protein) in multiple regions of interests in a human bone osteosarcoma cell using Andor’s FRAPPA.

The human bone osteosarcoma cell consists of two recovery components: a fast component in the cytoplasmic cell center and a slow component in the actin stress fibers. A larger region in the cytoplasmic cell center and four actin stress fiber regions were photo-bleached using the FRAPPA in user-selected regions of interest.
