Formalin-Induced Fluorescence Ultramicroscopy

This video shows the image data from a mouse hippocampal CA1 region using the formalin-induced fluorescence ultramicroscopy and Andor cameras with EM-gain.

The ultramicroscopy can capture optical images of weak and fast fading fluorescence signals in deep tissue layers in three dimensions. With the help of Andor cameras, this bright-field technique captures all fluorescence coming from the probe.
